RM Special Needs Installs SpaceKraft Sensory Suite at South Florida Jewish Academy

RM Special Needs recently completed an installation of the first SpaceKraft Sensory Suite in North America. The suite was installed at the South Florida Jewish Academy (SFJA) in Coconut Creek, FL. Through private donations, SFJA secured the funding and selected the state-of-the-art suite of equipment to enhance the learning environment of their students.

Some of the specialized items you'll find in the room are an LED Bubble Tube, Interactive Infinity Tunnel, LED Touch Wall, and a SpaceFrame of projectors and pinspots. The SpaceFrame projection items are all operated via a wireless transmitter, using the student's favorite switch. The Sensory Suite is designed to encourage interaction via switches or the touch of a hand. The equipment can be used for calming sessions or interaction depending on the individual needs.

"We are extremely happy with the way the room turned out." says Baila Gansburg, Executive Director, "The room was a clean palate, and RM came in and created a wonderful learning environment for our students. RM's professional installation team were very easy to work with and the support we have received after the installation has been top notch! RM was a pleasure to work with and they were there for us from initial design stages through installation and implementation."
